Founded in 1999, Dentistry 2000 has been a trusted destination for exceptional dental care in Oceanside and North County San Diego for more than 25 years.

Our practice combines advanced dental technology, years of clinical experience, and a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. Led by Dr. A.R. Dr. A.R. Assadian, MS, DDS

Founder & Lead Dentist

Dr. A.R. Assadian founded Dentistry 2000 in 1999 with a vision to bring advanced, compassionate dental care to families throughout Oceanside and North County San Diego. With more than two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Assadian is known for his gentle touch, artistic precision, and dedication to helping patients understand their treatment options.
He believes excellent dentistry begins with listening. During each visit, Dr. Assadian takes time to understand every patient's concerns, answer questions clearly, and create a treatment plan that supports long-term oral health and confidence.
Dr. Assadian's strong background in chemistry gives him a unique understanding of dental materials, oral biology, and modern treatment technology. He approaches each case with scientific precision while keeping the patient experience at the center of care.
Outside the office, Dr. Assadian enjoys swimming, playing pickleball, watching his kids play sports, and spending quality time with his family. Having raised his family in San Diego, he considers North County home and is proud to care for the community he lives in and loves.

Dr. Amit H. Patel, DDS.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Amit H. Patel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he moved to Southern California to complete his general practice residency at the Sepulveda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he had the privilege of caring for our nation's veterans.

Dr. Patel believes every patient deserves to be treated like family. His goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel heard and understood. He takes time to explain treatment options clearly and works with each patient to create a personalized plan that supports long-term oral health and overall well-being.

Dr. Fariba Beik

Associate Dentist

Dr. Fariba Beik studied at the University of Medical Sciences in Tehran before earning her dental doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She brings years of experience, skill, and efficiency to the Dentistry 2000 team, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their care.

Dr. Beik is known for her calm approach and commitment to providing thoughtful, personalized dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, cooking Persian food, and staying active with volleyball and pickleball.

Lorena

Front Office Manager

Lorena has been part of Dentistry 2000 for 18 years and serves as our Front Office Manager. As a lifelong Southern California resident, she takes pride in welcoming patients with kindness, organization, and genuine care from the moment they contact the office.

Her experience, attention to detail, and commitment to patient service help make each visit smooth and stress-free. Outside the office, Lorena enjoys beach walks with her dog, Penny, cheering on her daughter at volleyball games, and spending quality time with her husband.

Sanae

Front Office Supervisor & Treatment Coordinator

Sanae brings more than 15 years of experience in the dental field to her role at Dentistry 2000. Known for her warmth, professionalism, and strong communication skills, she helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout the treatment planning process.

Her ability to speak multiple languages allows her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and make each visit feel more personal and welcoming. Outside the office, Sanae enjoys spending time with her two sons and cherishing time with her family.

Maria Guzman

Registered Dental Assistant

Since joining Dentistry 2000 in 2017, Maria Guzman has become a familiar and comforting presence for our patients. As a Registered Dental Assistant, she brings experience, compassion, and a naturally gentle approach to every appointment.

After a brief time away, Maria returned to our team and continues to make a positive impact in her part-time role. When she is not in the office, she loves spending time with her family and fiance, enjoying the moments that matter most.

Angie Morales

Dental Assistant

For the past three years, Angie Morales has been one of the friendly faces helping keep Dentistry 2000 running smoothly. As a longtime Encinitas resident, she loves serving the community she calls home and helping patients feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive.

When she is not assisting patients, Angie enjoys spending quality time with her son, Ronnie, and her dog, Milo, as well as exploring local parks and beaches. Her positive energy, dedication, and kindness make her a joy to work with and an important part of our team.

Martin

Dental Assistant

Martin has been in the dental field for over seven years and brings both skill and warmth to our team. Born and raised in Southern California, he has a natural connection with our community and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during their visits.

Outside of the office, Martin loves photography, especially capturing cars, sports, and portraits. He stays active by going to the gym, spending time with friends, and working on his own car, one of his favorite hobbies.
